Miss Universe Philippines announced the top 15 girls that made the cut for MUPh’s first challenge, the Headshot Challenge, via a Facebook post on Monday, August 2, 2021.

Actress Kisses Delavin clinched the top spot of the challenge, followed by Tiktok creator Rousanne Marie “Ayn” Bernos and Asia’s Next Top Model winner Maureen Wroblewitz, on the second and third spot, respectively.

Steffi Rose Aberasturi, Maria Corazon Abalos, Katrina Dimaranan, and Leren Mae Bautista took the fourth to seventh place.

Meanwhile, Gianne Asuncion, Noelyn Campos, Kamille Quiñola, Cheri Flejoles, Angela De Grano, Jedidah Korinihona, Mirjan Hipolito and Isabelle delos Santos are the other delegates who made it to the Top 15.

The headshot challenge is the first of several remote challenges that the top 100 delegates will face before being reduced down to the top 75, then the top 50.

The headshot competition had a voting session that lasted from July 26 to August 1 at midnight.

The Top 100 delegates’ next challenge will be a Video Introduction Challenge, in which they must display their personality.

The voting for the second challenge will begin on August 2 and finish at midnight on August 6.

Likes, comments, and shares on social media do not affect the Top 75’s selection, according to the organization. Only votes cast through the MUPH app will be considered.

Moreover, only registered users of the Miss Universe Philippines app are allowed to vote for their preferred delegate once each day.
