It’s still about keeping up with Kim Kardashian as the media personality and entrepreneur draws attention for pulling off a major fashion-world reunion for the industry’s most notable supermodels for the launch of her latest ‘SKIMS’ campaign.
On April 4, the fashion mogul who founded the shapewear brand in 2019 took on social media by storm, bringing together Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, and Candice Swanepoel for a sultry Icons Campaign photoshoot wearing the signature shapewear from SKIMS’ bestselling and size-inclusive Fits Everybody collection.
On Instagram, SKIMS shared snaps of the four of Victoria’s Secret’s legendary models with an “it doesn’t get more iconic than this,” a caption introducing the stunning photoshoot that starred the four of the biggest names on the runway to showcase “strength, energy, and everlasting allure” of the iconic collection.
Taking to her Instagram account, Kim shared a series of photos of herself alongside Tyra, Heidi, Candice, and Alessandra saying “OK so I wasn’t supposed to be in this SKIMS campaign but I stopped by and jumped in because it was too iconic. Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra, and Candice wearing our signature SKIMS Fit Everybody collection”.
For the newest launch of SKIMS Icons campaign, supermodel Tyra Banks also extended the incredible feeling of working with Kim along with her fellow model shared, “When Kim Kardashian called me with the idea to reunite these incredible women and me for SKIMS, I was intrigued. And here we are! I hadn’t modeled lingerie and undergarments since I retired from the runway, but it was like riding a bike. The poses came back even fiercer than before! I’m rocking their Fits Everybody collection which is just as comfy as it looks. And yep, Kim…I’m now obsessed”.
Meanwhile, Former Victoria’s Secret Angels Heidi, Candice, and Alessandra also took to their Instagram account to share how it is to star in a shapewear brand campaign together.
Heidi Klum described shooting with her fellow supermodels as a “blast” and the SKIMS photoshoot was a special time since they had the chance to get reunited. While “obsessed” is how Alessandra Ambrosio describes her love for the new Fits Everybody underwear together with Candice Swanepoel’s “The posse you never knew you needed…” referring to the impressive group of the industry’s finest models Kim brought together for her new brand adverts.
In the campaign, the four household names of the modeling industry wore the brand’s signature collections of different shades of the cult-favorite, “Fits everybody” Skims Collections including the buttery-soft bars, bodysuits, underwear, and other loungewear- the brand is said to cater all shapes and sizes.
