Reality television star, Kim Kardashian West announced, Wednesday, July 7 that make-up brand, KKW Beauty will temporarily close on August 1.
The social media mogul revealed on Instagram, “To our loyal customers, it all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body, and many incredible collections over the past four years.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star teased a new range of products for customers to enjoy.
“On August 1st at midnight, we will be shutting down the KKWBeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look. I’m excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned.”

She further added: “In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website.
Fans and celebrities are excited as she hinted that they will see the new version of the cosmetic line soon.
“Thank you so much for being on this incredible journey with me, and I promise we won’t be gone for too long.”
Some of the bestselling products are her Powder Contour and Highlight Kits, Nude Lipsticks, and Skin Perfecting Body Foundation.
Along with the temporary closing of the brand, Kardashian shared that their products are on sale 20% – 75% off sitewide until August 1 at midnight.
Speculations arise that Kardashian will drop her last name when she and rapper husband, Kanye West, announced their divorce last February, citing irreconcilable sources. But Kardashian hasn’t confirmed if the entrepreneur will change her last name.
Alongside KKW Beauty which she launched in 2017, she also has several businesses like her shapewear Skims, mobile game Kim Kardashian Hollywood, and KKW Fragrance that made her a billionaire last year with approximately $1 billion, up from $780 million, according to Forbes
