Expressing his mixed emotions about taking the lead role in a theatrical play, Filipino actor Khalil Ramos disclosed feeling surreal about playing on stage.

On August 14, Khalil shared on his Instagram how he still feels like it was his first time acting during the musical “Tick, Tick, Boom!” recently.

“It doesn’t get any better than this,” the actor said as he showed some snippets of his recent play.

Noting this milestone, Khalil expressed his gratitude to his friends and family for showing support for his leading role, emphasizing how these people helped him achieve his dreams of getting the role.

“Being able to do what I love the most, in front of the people who matter the most. To my friends and family who came to last night’s show, I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you,” he said.

Congratulating him on his recent play, Khalil’s girlfriend Gabbi Garcia also shared how proud she was of the actor for showing their sweet photos together after the play.

On August 6, Gabbi also shared snippets as she saw Khalil play the role for the first time, saying, “I’m still so overwhelmed from last night’s show. You continue to amaze me with your incredible talent, hard work, passion, and sincerity, Bub!”

In the said post, she also disclosed how she also learned from Khalil as he achieved his dreams in theater, noting that he already does what he loves.

“I’m not saying this just because we’re partners, but as a person who has high respect for what you do,” Gabbi said.

“Tick, tick, Boom!” Manila is open for the month of August and will hold its theater play in Makati. The said musical play is written by American composer and Pulitzer Prize-winning creator Jonathan Larson, and it showcases some of his experiences as an aspiring composer and playwright.
