Former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant Keisha Paulo has released her debut single, “Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang,” under ABS-CBN’s Star Music.

The track speaks about the struggle of letting go as the relationship painfully ends. Thyro Alfaro composed and produced the song, which perfectly captured Keisha’s powerhouse vocals and range.

“It’s about a person who is struggling to let go of someone they love. I think that is relatable to many, I myself also experience that kind of heartache. I’m very thankful to Thyro that he chose me to interpret this song,” she said during her single launch.

“Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang” will be part of her upcoming album set to be released this year.

“Most of the songs that you’re going to hear speak about love, broken relationships, and mental health issues. They also play around the genres of pop, soul, and R&B,” Keisha teased.

Despite the pressure of competing on “Tawag ng Tanghalan” season 6, Keisha looks back on her experience with gratitude, as it helped her grow as an artist.

“I remember the daily rounds kunwari sasalang ka na today, and you’re already thinking about your performance tomorrow. It was a very hard experience, but I’m also grateful that I got to do that because it made me stronger in starting my career,” she shared.
