On Sunday (November 8), Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS) celebrates its 16th year of airing on Philippine TV.
For the third consecutive year, KMJS was hailed as the Philippine Winner of the Best Infotainment Program by the Asian Academy Creative Awards. Last week (November 1), the program’s yearly Halloween Special, “Gabi ng Lagim,” once again became the top trending topic on Twitter, both Worldwide and in the Philippines.
At the same time, KMJS’ official Facebook fan page continues to grow with its 14 million likes and 19 million followers. This year, KMJS has already gathered over 1.4 billion video views.
Be it on television—as the most awarded news magazine program, or on social media—as a consistent weekly top trending topic, KMJS continues to achieve new milestones as it is now the longest-running news magazine program in the country.
To kick off the program’s anniversary, program host Jessica Soho exclusively interviews Lorita Cadena, mother of popular Pinoy vlogger Lloyd Cadena. For the first time on Philippine TV, “Kween Mother” shares her moments with her son after Lloyd was afflicted with COVID-19. What are her thoughts on her trending vlog, wherein Lloyd’s alleged voice was heard?
Meanwhile, after getting lost in Divisoria in 1989, will Maribel’s continued search for her mother have its conclusion? The much-awaited DNA results of two mother-and-daughter pairs will be revealed this Sunday. In this double DNA test revelation, will there finally be a double celebration?
This Sunday’s episode will also include stories about the current state of heritage structures in Bicol after being ravaged by Rolly, the world’s strongest typhoon in 2020; the transformation story of a hunk who is now a transwoman; the breathtaking rescue of a three-year-old child who fell inside a well in Bataan; and the heartwarming love story of a couple who are way past their prime.
