Jarren Garcia opens a new chapter in his music journey with “LUVBOMB,” a seven-track R&B and soul extended play (EP) arriving on digital streaming platforms on July 23 (Thursday).
The singer-video jock blends smooth melodies with heartfelt storytelling in the seven-track EP that navigates the excitement, uncertainty, and heartbreak that come with falling in love through its tracks “Gotchu,” “Pinaka Pretty,” “Tatapatin,” “APK (Ang Pahinga Ko),” “Pinili Kita, Pero,” and the Taglish and English versions of “Runaway.”
Serving as the EP’s key track, “Runaway” reflects on a relationship caught in an endless cycle, where two people continue to find their way back to each other despite knowing they may be better off apart.
Before capturing the audiences as a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11,” Jarren first showcased his talent as a contestant on “The Voice UK” when he was 13. He officially debuted as a recording artist last year with his self-titled debut album, which has since garnered over 2.5 million streams and produced the tracks “Make It Make Sense” and “Gimme Gimme Gimme.”
The current MYX VJ also celebrated the album with his fans through his sold-out “That Boy Jarren Album Launch and Fan Meet” at SM North Edsa Skydome, further cementing his growing fanbase. He also continues to showcase his artistry through regular performances on “ASAP XP.”
