Filipina actress and singer Janella Salvador will appear on screen with Thai actor and model Win Metawin in their upcoming movie “Under Parallel Skies,” directed by award-winning Filipino director Sigrid Bernardo.

Last Tuesday, 28 Squared Studios shared a video of Janella and Win showing their chemistry as they promoted their upcoming film on Instagram.

Set in Hong Kong, the film follows the story of a man who tries to move forward from his painful history and soon discovers that the present woman in his life is connected to his past.

Directed by Sigrid Bernardo, the writer, and director behind the internationally acclaimed Filipino indie film “Kita Kita,” audiences can expect to “embark on a journey of love, heartbreak, and healing” upon watching the film.

This is the first time that Janella and Win will work together on one project, and the second time that a Thai actor is paired with a Filipina for a movie collaboration after Mario Maurer’s project with Erich Gonzales back in 2012.

Win previously starred in the popular Thai BL series “2gether,” while Janella starred in Filipino teleseryes “The Killer Bride” and “Darna.”
