Matty Juniosa, Lucas Garcia, and Enzo Almario of the “iDolls” finally got their crowning moment after ruling Week 7 of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3,” which is back with fresh new episodes on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and A2Z.

“Para kaming nanalo ng Miss Universe. Finally!” said Lucas, as host Luis Manzano presented them with the trophy and P50,000 cash prize as the newest weekly winner in the hit Kapamilya musical variety competition.

The trio’s rocking transformation into Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, at Sting enabled them to edge out their fellow celebrity performers after delivering stellar performances in previous weeks.

“Everybody deserves it. We all have a chance. Sobrang thank you po na ibinigay niyo po sa amin ‘yung moment na ‘to. We’ve been working so hard. Nakuha na namin ang timpla,” Matty said about their victory.

As expected, the competition was tight this week as shown by the scores after jury members Ogie Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, and Jed Madela – who stood in for Sharon Cuneta – ranked the performances. But in the end, the “Idol Philippines” alumni hauled in more votes from fellow contestants.

Meanwhile, Sample King and two-time weekly winner Jhong Hilario officially announced his departure from the program to focus on caring for his baby and wife. Geneva Cruz was also missing last weekend as she currently has to look after her father and daughter after her mother got sick. On Monday (April 19), she broke the sad news that her mom already passed away.

“I can’t wait to go back, and napanood ko kayo ang gagaling niyo. You make me proud and see you guys soon,” she said in a video message shown during the program.

Meanwhile, birthday boy Luis was very thankful for the surprise prepared for him by the “YFSF” family. Aside from messages from his loved ones, celebrity mentor Nyoy Volante’s transformation as Luis’ mother Vilma Santos-Recto also brought amusement to the celebrant.

The fun banters and challenges and amazing transformations will continue this weekend featuring icons Apo Hiking Society (iDolls), Elizabeth Ramsey (Lie Reposposa), Lani Misalucha (Klarisse De Guzman), Michael Buble (Christian Bables), Janet Jackson (Vivoree Esclito), and Inigo Pascual (CJ Navato).
