Who would have imagined that social elite Heart Evangelista has hidden secondhand shoes in her luxurious shoe closet?

On September 22, the actress released another vlog with the highly requested content of her fans and subscribers, which is a shoe closet tour.

In her latest vlog, she presented her favorite luxury footwear, the story behind each gift, and personal purchases.

Evangelista briefly shared how she started her shoe obsession from transparent jelly shoes to brands like her go-to shop at Steve Madden and Guess during her youth.

The actress then showed some of her favorite pair of shoes, including her vintage Louis Vuitton strappy sandals, which she had since she was 18. Brands like YSL Tribune despite that some people don’t like it said it was comfy and has the ‘Titas of Manila’ vibes.

The sequined Christian Louboutin pumps are considered to be her lucky shoes. Also, in-store with her is her custom Christian Louboutin Daffodile Strass platforms which she wore to her 2015 Balesin wedding with Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

Aside from these, Evangelista also revealed two pairs of pre-loved heels that she bought from actress Rufa Mae Quinto.

“You know who also has a really good collection, Filipino artists? Rufa Mae Quinto,” Evangelista said.

“My god, her collection. She went on sale, little sale on her Instagram. I’m sorry guys kasi wala na kayong naabutan kasi binili ko na lahat ng magaganda. Sobrang ganda ng collection niya. As in almost runway Chanel boots,” she added.

One of those pairs was by the Italian luxury fashion house Gucci, which the actress said she bought from Quinto for only PHP 5,000.

Meanwhile, other brands that can be found in Heart’s shoe closet include Rene Caovilla, Chanel, Manolo Blahnik, YSL, Guissepi Zannoti, Dolce and Gabbana, Casadei, and Tony Bianco.

Despite the fact that Evangelista has these luxurious fashion footwear, she doesn’t mind wearing pieces from low-end brands as well.

For her, fashion isn’t really about who has the pieces from the latest season or what’s the newest. Fashion is all about having key pieces that will last forever. Shoes are part of someone’s expression and self-reflection. It is made for a lifetime, not season.
