HBO Max has released the first teaser trailer for House of the Dragon, a spin-off based on George RR Martin’s books that have become iconic with the Game of Thrones universe.

There are scenes of the Iron Throne, jousts, and sword fights in it.

“Dreams didn’t make us kings, dragons did,” says Dragonriders Prince Daemon Targaryen in the trailer.

“Dracarys,” said a tweet from HBO, which was retweeted by HBO Max’s initial message.

Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik co-created House of the Dragon, and Sapochnik will also direct several episodes.

Moreover, the teaser trailer doesn’t disclose much about the storyline of the series, but it does give us a first glance at Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Sonoya Mizuno, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, and Olivia Cooke, who are some of the series’ cast members.
House Of The Dragon covers the origin and conclusion of the Targaryen family’s reign as rulers of Westeros, as well as the events leading up to the Targaryen civil war, for Game of Thrones fans.

HBO hasn’t announced a particular release date for House Of The Dragon, other than to state that the 10-episode first season will premiere in 2022 on HBO and HBO Max.
