The Meycauayan Jewelry Industry Association, Inc. (MJIA), known as a group of top skilled artisans from Bulacan, made a dazzling impression at the 41st Hong Kong International Jewellery Show held on Mar. 4 to 8, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Philippine booth consisted of Bijoux by Lori Hermoso, Jevan Jewelry, Kit Silver Jewellery, Montura de Meycauayan Jewelry & Metal Arts Corp., Ricel’s Jewellery, and V.Y Domingo Jewellers Incorporated, which are the leading jewelry exporters from Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Handcrafted items, gold filigree, custom-made fine jewelry, antique and Filipiniana-inspired fine jewelry with South Sea pearls, precious gemstones, and jewels that showcase the art of intricate traditional metalwork, like the Filipino tambourine jewelry technique, were all on display at the Philippine booth.

The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It’s a prestigious event that annually draws exhibitors and buyers from all around the world.

MJIA’s involvement in the event was met with overwhelming success and attention from international buyers since the pieces were portraying the fine craftsmanship of jewelry-making, blended by the vibrant history of the Philippines, and visitors of the booth praised the jewelry for its fusion of traditional Filipino artistry and present-day technology to bring high-quality pieces at the forefront.
