Another Filipino has shown their luck after a Filipina expat Sharon Francisco Cabello won her second card from an international raffle draw program.

On October 4, the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi announced the winner of its Dream Car Jeep Series 10 which was disclosed to be a Pinay as ticket number 013280 won during the raffle draw.

Residing in Abu Dhabi since 2014 and currently living with her husband and son, Sharon Cabello works for a hedge company as a procurement assistant. Only by 2017 did she start buying raffle tickets costing 150 dirhams.

She had always planned how her winning prizes would be distributed, starting with the BMW she won last August.

“The first time I won, we sold the car for more than Dh300,000. I used my portion of the winnings to build my home in the Philippines. The rest of the cash earnings were distributed among my family members,” Cabello shared with a foreign news outlet.

The Filipina also plans the same for her recent win, a brand-new Jeep Rubicon Series 10. “This time, I will be using the cash I make from selling the car for my son’s education and to invest in a new business opportunity,” she said.

Despite the double wins, Cabello says she will continue buying raffle tickets, but this time, aiming for Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’s grand prize as her third winning dream.
