Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez comes back to the stage of America’s Got Talent (AGT) and expresses gratitude for overwhelming support following her comeback after 20 years.

Sanchez has made an overwhelming return to America’s Got Talent (AGT), two decades after first stepping onto the iconic stage as a young aspiring artist. Now 29, Sanchez shares on her Instagram her heartfelt appreciation for the support she has received from her supporters around the world since her powerful appearance, as well as appreciating the people behind her successful performance.

“I want to shout out to these talented guys that shared the AGT stage with me. They elevated this song to the next level with their gifts & I’m so grateful to have shared this amazing moment with them! I couldn’t ask for a better band. Please show them lots of love, guys,” Sanchez stated.

Sanchez sings her own rendition of “Beautiful Things by Benson Boone”—together with her band, she delivered a golden buzzer-worthy performance.

After her amazing performance, Sofia Vergara, one of the judges of America’s Got Talent, delivered a heartfelt comment on her performance and proudly pressed the “golden buzzer” that made Sanchez’s audition worthwhile.

“I don’t know. I think there is something very special that happened on the stage with you. It’s so amazing that we’re on the 20th anniversary, and you’re here again after 20 years. You are so ready to do all this, and I think that you deserve this,” says Sofia Vergara.

Sanchez first auditioned for America’s Got Talent as a child, showcasing her amazing singing talent.
