Kapamilya singer FANA confronts the raw realities of love and self-value in her self-titled debut album, laying bare the heartbreak, healing, and rediscovery that come with learning how to truly love oneself.

Following her PhilPop Himig Handog win with her rendition of Tiara Shaye’s “Wag Paglaruan,” FANA now embraces a pop-R&B direction in her debut record, featuring eight tracks including “Meron Pero Wala” with Ace$, “Overthinking,” “Gabi Gabi,” “Yoko Na” with Jarea, “Tabla Tayo,” “Get Me (Out),” “Wag Paglaruan (Solo Version),” and “Tawa Tawa (Na Lang).”

The album was crafted alongside a powerhouse roster of collaborators, with FANA co-writing with Khimo, Jeremy G, Jarea, Ace$, Tiara Shaye, Dana Balagtas, Erica Sabalboro, Kiko Salazar, and ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, while the production was handled by Darren Cashwell, Kiko Salazar, Arnold Buena, and Jonathan.

The album’s key track, “Tabla Tayo,” is a witty and introspective song that uses the imagery of a game to reflect on emotional standoffs, pride, and the unspoken tension between lovers.

Coinciding with the album’s release, the rising singer-songwriter dropped the music video for “Meron Pero Wala,” which stars Jameson Blake.

FANA first emerged in the spotlight as part of “The Voice Teens Philippines” season 1 under coach Sarah Geronimo, later reaching the finals of “Idol Philippines” season 1. Now, she’s steadily rising with her standout voice, following earlier tracks like “Love Story Ko” and “Tawa-Tawa.” Last June, she collaborated with Janine Berdin and Illest Morena for “tayo lang (may alam).”
