Miss Universe Philippines announced on Thursday afternoon, March 17, that the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night will be held at SM Mall of Asia this April 30.

On their Facebook page, the pageant organization revealed that ticket details will be announced soon and who will be the “very special” international guests that will grace the pageant.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Swimsuit Challenge will also premiere at Kumu on Thursday, March 17, at 6 PM. According to the pageant organization’s Facebook page, it was initially to premiere at 12 NN but it was pushed back to 6 PM. The official swimsuit photos will also be released on the Miss Universe Philippines App.

The fan voting will also start on Friday, March 18, at 9 AM. The swimsuit challenge will be hosted by Bea Luigi Gomez, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 titleholder, and Daumier Corilla.

On Thursday, Miss Universe Philippines also announced that Miss Davao del Norte, Jeanne Nicci Orcena has won the Kumu Livestream Challenge and Isabel Luche, Miss Mandaue, has won the Kumu Follower Sprint Challenge.

In both posts, the pageant organization said that if the winners would not make it to the Top 30, the delegate next in line would receive the prize for these challenges.

The pageant organization also uploaded on Tuesday the introduction videos of the Miss Universe Philippines delegates. On Wednesday, they announced the Top 3 winners of the Introduction Video Challenge: Pauline Cucharo Amelincx from Bohol, Shaira Aliyah Diaz from San Pablo, Laguna, and Lou Dominique Piczon from Cebu Province.

Miss Universe Philippines previously announced in February the start of the search and screening for the aspiring queens. Fifty women will be competing to win the crown.
