French-Filipino content creator Erwan Heusaff proudly raised the flag of the country as he won a prestigious award from the James Beard Foundation.

On June 3, the international annual award ceremony of the James Beard Foundation announced its winners, catering to media influencers tackling culinary.

Nominated as one of the personalities who used their social media accounts to showcase cuisines, Erwan was one of the nominees representing the Philippines.

After almost ten days of waiting, it was happily announced that the French-Filipino content creator successfully got the award against two known media influencers, “Nom Life” and “Kalamata’s Kitchen.”

In his Instagram account, Erwan expressed his gratitude for gaining such a prestigious award, showing how he offered his win to every Filipino.

“I’m still shaking. We made it!!” he captioned on his post.

In the said post, Erwan’s fellow influencers and artists congratulated him for accomplishing such a milestone in his culinary journey.

Showing how proud they are, his wife, Anne Curtis, penned a short but sweet message for him. “Dahlia and I are so proud of you, mon amour,” she said.

Erwan is a content creator who focuses on cuisine and teaching recipes. His known social media platforms were Featr Media and The Fat Kid Inside Studios, which also featured different Filipino chefs.

Despite being born in Australia, the content creator showcased how he loves exploring native foods, especially Filipino foods, which is one of the common features of his videos.
