Emily Cooper is packing her bags again, this time for a whole new Mediterranean chapter.

Netflix confirmed that filming for Emily in Paris Season 6 will kick off in May 2026, with production moving to Greece and Monaco. The popular comedy-drama series, which follows Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, a Chicago marketing executive navigating work and romance across Europe, spent its fourth and fifth seasons based in Rome, where Emily helped launch a new branch of the series’ luxury firm Agence Grateau.

Plot details for Season 6 remain under wraps, but the Season 5 finale dropped a significant clue: Emily walked away from her current love interest Marcello played by Italian actor Eugenio Franceschini, after receiving a handwritten postcard from her former boyfriend Gabriel, inviting her to Greece. Gabriel, played by French actor Lucas Bravo, had previously departed Paris to work as a private chef aboard a yacht, making Greece a natural next stop in his career.

The Greek setting hints that Emily may be chasing Gabriel across the Mediterranean once more, continuing the show’s signature blend of romance, ambition, and European scenery. Where earlier seasons showcased the glamour of Saint-Tropez and the grandeur of Rome, Greece brings a different visual palette, whitewashed Cycladic architecture, marble-paved island alleyways, and a mix of laid-back coastal beauty and upscale cosmopolitan energy. Given Agence Grateau’s ongoing international growth, the backdrop could set the stage for a luxury Mediterranean hospitality campaign or a high-profile partnership with a Greek lifestyle brand.

The series has been a consistent performer for Netflix since its 2020 debut. Season 5 drew approximately 13.5 million views in its opening week and cracked the top 10 in 91 countries, cementing its standing as one of the streamer’s strongest global comedy-drama properties.
