Brillantes said four of the five ambulances will be distributed to the different birthing clinics and one to the Cristino Paragas Memorial Hospital in Barangay Quiniput here.

“These are lifesaver machines wherein we can easily refer patients needed to be referred to a well-equipped hospitals,” Brillantes said.

He urged the recipient birth clinics to put to good use the ambulances given them.

The five units of ambulance were purchased by the DOH utilizing the 2019 Congressional Fund.

Meanwhile, Second District Rep. Manuel Jose Dalipe II, vice chairperson of the House committee on appropriations, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go and the DOH for the acquisition of the five units of ambulance for this city.
