The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 217 new recoveries among Filipinos abroad, pushing the overall tally of recovered cases to 7,136.
In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also tallied 213 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections and one new death.
These figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 11,082 and the death toll to 802.
Meanwhile, about 3,144 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.
“The DFA, together with its Foreign Services Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals amid the pandemic,” the department said. (PNA)
