The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 153 new recoveries among Filipinos abroad.

In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also tallied 291 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections — pushing the total number of cases to 10,840 — and five new deaths.

These figures bring the total number of recovered cases to 6,903 and the death toll to 798.

Meanwhile, about 3,139 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA, together with its Foreign Services Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals amid the pandemic,” the department said. (PNA)
