Disney plus, the home of all Star Wars films has a handful of new movies to offer in 2021 and for the next few years, and to get you in the hype, we listed all the possible movies of Star Wars that will come out soon based on Disney Inventor Day in 2020 announcement. Here’s what Disney+ a bona fide originals in store from the galaxy far, far away to yours.

1. Obi-Wan Kenobi
Release date: Late 2021 or early 2022
Look who returns? It’s no other than Heyden Christensen (Darth Vader) and Ewan Mcgregor (Jedi master). This is one of the most anticipated return series of star wars as both of the characters will face off again. It’s a new series that was set 10 years after the ‘Revenge of the Sith: Star Wars.’

2. Ahsoka
Release date: Sometime in 2022
Ahsoka follows a crossover series with the Mandalorian and ranger of the new republic: Star Wars. The series starring Rosario Dawson will be an exciting hunt to follow for her grand admiral trawl.

3. Andor
Release date: Sometime in 2022
Andor, the Rogue One: Star Wars Story is another exciting Star Wars series starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. The production starts in London and there hasn’t been enough story shared for Andor. However, StarWars.com has shared a logline for Andor stated, “The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.”

4. The Book of Boba Fett
Release date: December 2021
The announcement of Boba Fett was after The Mandalorian season, a separate series spin-off centered on Temeura Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. The post-credit scene in Mandalorian is setting Boba as a crime lord in the galaxy. Though the storyline is unclear, it is a separate series of The Mandalorian season 3 that is said to arrive by the 4th quarter of 2021.

5. Ranger of the New Republic
Release date: Late 2022
Among the slate in the Star Wars universe comes the Ranger of the New Republic that has greatly expanded in the coming years to fill in the gaps of peace and balance in the galaxy and have their own policing. The expected New Republic will feature Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni under the wraps. Its timeline is the interweave events of The Mandalorian and the upcoming Ahsoka.

6. The Acolyte
Release date: Unknown (Sometime in 2023)
After The Mandalorian season 3 entered the Star Wars realm debuts The Acolyte, a female-centric attack in the series of Star Wars. The new show is 200 years before the Star Wars prequels in the conflict of the High Republic. The mystery-thriller unveils The Acolyte to explore the dark side power of the final days of the High Republic era.

7. Lando
Release date: Unknown
The galaxy most known as the suavest man is Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, a survivor who used to land on his feet. The developing story doesn’t reveal yet if it has the same character that would land as Lando, though Calrissian will return on his show.

8. The Bad Batch
Release date: May 4, 2021
The title derives from the episode of the spin-off series of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The new animated series was developed by Dave Filoni. The Bad Batch will take the place of Order 66 in Revenge of the Sith. The official synopsis from Lucasfilm states that “they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a purpose.” The new spin is formed of soldiers who have unique powers and sort of psychological issues.

9. Star Wars: Visions
Release date: October 12, 2021
Star Wars: Visions is a novel inspired that is taking its step towards the world of anime that embraces long and bold storytelling of the galaxy far, far away. This new animation is composed of 10 episodes, each telling different divisions within the Star Wars world and details will be revealed further in the next few months.

10. A Droid Story
Release date: Unknown
This movie is said to be in the works and it is an animated film. Back in 1977 fans of old Star Wars were introduced to C-3PO and R2-D2, both are iconic droids that appear in every Star Wars movie. However, it remains a mystery if who will be the new hero that guides in this movie, but it seems that the team behind this project is doing their best to make this film more light and interesting.

11. The Mandalorian Season 3
Release date: First half of 2022
And it’s no surprise we put this one in the last because we’re expecting you to scroll more! The filming of this much-awaited The Mandalorian Season 3 without the hiccups of the coronavirus, should commence some time in 2021. But in the latter, the production will be put on halt unless The Book of Boba Fett show will be successful. However, whether it will or not, it will always keeps the ball rolling because Favreau has confirmed that the story of Pascal’s Din Djarin will take the story in season 3.
