Coco Martin and Julia Montes are ready to spark level-up ‘kilig’ as their characters’ slow-burn romance takes a new turn when they find themselves living under one roof in the hit Kapamilya teleserye “Coco Martin’s Sigabo.”
“Magsisimula na ’yung sinasabi ko noon na itong ‘Sigabo,’ hindi lang siya action-drama, talagang comedy-romance siya. Excited kaming lahat kasi nga first time ’to,” said Coco in an interview on “TV Patrol.”
Julia, meanwhile, teased that her character’s love story with Coco in the series will unfold as a slow-burn romance.
“Paano magkakaroon ng koneksyon ‘yung dalawa? Saan mabubuo ang kwento ng isa’t isa? Aso’t pusa ba ito? Mapupunta ba ito sa pagkakagustuhan? Maraming sorpresa, hindi pa namin ma-spoil sa inyo dahil dapat niyong abangan. Binuo talaga ni Coco ‘yon,” said Julia.
Adding to the excitement of their characters, Sam (Julia) finds herself in a surprising situation as she pretends to lose her memory after accidentally falling onto Gabo’s (Coco) roof, prompting him to introduce himself as her beloved husband.
Gabo remains consistent in taking care of Sam and promises that he is willing to risk his own life to protect her from the armed men who are hunting her down, unaware that Sam has resorted to secretly investigating him to uncover whether he has ties to the Zafras, a syndicate and a long-time enemy of her family.
