Primetime King Coco Martin is more than honored to bring together a stellar combination of new stars and veteran actors for “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” as the hit Kapamilya teleserye enters its third year.

During the “Tatak BQ: The FPJ’s Batang Quiapo 2nd Anniversary Special,” Coco shared what it means for him to work with a powerhouse cast while continuing to tell a story that deeply resonates with viewers. Recently, the show introduced its newest cast members, led by Andrea Brillantes, Jake Cuenca, Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Chanda Romero, and Celia Rodriguez.

“Overwhelming para sa akin. Kasi imagine niyo na mapasama lahat kami and mga baguhang artista, tapos makasama namin mga veteran actor na mga icon na sa industry. Napakasarap kasi hindi lahat ng artista ay nabibigyan ng ganitong klaseng pagkakataon,” shared Coco.

Although their characters are yet to be revealed, the new cast members are equally excited to join the series.

“I am feeling a bit pressured, pero I am more grateful than I am pressured. I will use that pressure as motivation to be better, kasi iba ang experience dito sa ‘BQ.’ Matagal ko nang nire-request na gusto ko mag-action,” shared Andrea.

Having worked with Coco for hit ABS-CBN teleseryes in the past, Jake also expressed his excitement to reunite with him for another project that is well-loved by many Filipinos. “I’m really grateful to be part of this big and successful project. I’m just excited to experience the best version of Coco Martin,” he said.

For veteran icons in the entertainment industry, Chanda and Celia are also proud and grateful to be able to work with Coco.

“I’ve heard so much about Coco, and I know of the success of ‘Batang Quiapo,’ and I wanted to see this guy in action and see it firsthand,” said Chanda. Celia likewise shared, “I’m so proud that I’m here. I believe I am in the company of thespians, not only in acting, but the names are highly respected. Everybody wants to be in this cast.”

Meanwhile, after playing notable roles in the hit action drama series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” Albert and Angel are extremely delighted to be back in action with Coco.
