Former “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemate Carmelle Collado turns up the confidence with her first original solo offering, “Morena.”

The empowering pop-dance track highlights the importance of loving one’s skin and championing Filipina beauty. It was composed and produced by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, with co-writing credits from Star Music artist Jeremy G and WRIVE members Russu Laurente, Ishiro Incapas, and Asi Gatdula.

The Kapamilya singer will prove her status as a new gen pop diva in “CARMELLE LIVE!” happening on May 19 at the SM North Edsa Skydome. Tickets are priced at P3,199 (SVIP), P2,499 (VIP), P1,999 (Patron), P1,499 (Gen ad), with an additional P299 for soundcheck access. Tickets are available on smtickets.com and SM Tickets outlets.

Before captivating the viewers in her “PBB” stint, Carmelle first gained recognition as a runner-up in “The Voice Kids Philippines” under Bamboo’s team last 2019. She returned stronger last year as the first grand champion of “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown.”

As a recording artist, she released the cover singles “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Stay.” Carmelle also participated in the anniversary single series of prolific composer Soc Villanueva, where she performed “Unti-Unti” with Kevin Yadao.
