The city government on Tuesday opened the Cagayan de Oro City Primary Care Center–Tablon as part of its healthcare development plan.
The primary care center is included in the city government’s PHP10-billion annual budget last year.
The Tablon Center will initially offer primary care to residents, especially in the city’s eastern villages, including outpatient consultation, pharmacy services, laboratory and diagnostics, and health education and preventive care.
It is an extension of the Cagayan de Oro City Hospital and offers easier access to patients nearby.
“Patients can now save money on traveling, with this new primary care facility. It is time that the city can serve everyone closer,” Mayor Rolando Uy said. (PNA)
