Bugoy Drilon has released the space-age music video for his collaboration single with music producer Moophs entitled “Tied.”
Though aesthetically futuristic with an alien-like ecosystem visual, the music video portrays a love affair of two persons forced to be physically apart.
“‘Tied’ MV is about two individuals stuck in a different world trying to fix the space between them,” said writer Dale Reciña of YouMeUs, the studio behind the MV. “It’s a very familiar kind of love where we feel like the world is against us,” he added.
The MV also remained true to the song’s core message of hope in the midst of an unrequited love. “It can be painful to experience, but you have to hold on to hope that everything happens for a reason,” shared Bugoy.
Released last January, “Tied” is a Tarsier Records’ venture into the lovers rock side of reggae. The song has been a chart-topper debuting at no.1 on Wave 89.1’s D10 last January 15. It currently has almost 300,000 streams solely on Spotify.
The official music video for “Tied” by Bugoy Drilon and Moophs is out now on Tarsier Records YouTube Channel.
