SKY subscribers can now get their K-drama fix for only P99 a month on Viu Premium, with SKY.
In as fast as eight hours after broadcast, latest dramas, variety programs, reality shows, and entertainment news are already available on VIU, complete with English subtitles. With features to download and stream content offline via the app, it’s definitely a must-have for Asian drama enthusiasts.
K-drama fans can binge-watch some of today’s hottest titles, including “Hotel del Luna,” featuring 2019 BaekSang Arts Awards Most Popular Actress IU, who stars as Jang Man Wol. Yeo Jin Goo, last seen on “Absolute Boyfriend,” co-stars in this spooky romantic comedy, where the duo works to service the hotel’s exclusively all-ghosts guests, and preparing them for the afterlife.
Another title recommended for hopeless romantics is the latest historical drama, “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” starring Seo Ji Hoon as the newly crowned King of Joseon. He hires a matchmaking agency to transform his first love, Gae Ddong (played by Gong Seung Yeon), from a commoner into a noble lady he can marry.
If you’re into more riveting, darker stories, then you’ll want to check out “Strangers from Hell.” In this thrilling horror webtoon adaptation, award-winning actor and ZE:A member Im Si Wan takes the role of a young man who moves to a cheap apartment in Seoul for his new job. He finds, however, that his housemates, including Seo Moon Jo played be top actor Lee Dong Wook, aren’t exactly the cleanest of people, and hide much more sinister secrets than meets the eye.
