New gen phenomenal actress-singer Belle Mariano channels all-too-real emotions in her newly dropped album titled “Like U.”
Produced under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label, “Like U” is a collection of eight new pop songs capturing what it’s like to fall, get hurt, heal, and hope, filled with emotions relatable to those in different stages of love.
It includes the songs “The Puzzle” and “Makulay” composed by Jonathan Manalo and Roque “Rox” Santos,” “Numbers Don’t Lie” penned by Rox, “Pintuan” and “Like You” written by Trisha Denise, “Magdadala” and “Get Out” composed by Jonathan, and “Nowhere Now Here” penned by Dennis Campañer. Rox, StarPop’s label head, served as the album’s overall producer.
The key track, “Like You,” celebrates finding someone truly rare, whose presence changes one’s life in all the best ways.
Belle’s music drop immediately follows the announcement of her upcoming reunion film with Donny Pangilinan, “Tayo Sa Wakas,” under Star Cinema.
Named Listener’s Choice at the 2024 Billboard Philippines Women in Music and 2024 Lullaby Artist Award by Spotify, Belle is a certified hitmaker with previously released songs “Bugambilya,” “Sigurado,” “Tanging Dahilan,” and more.
