Actress and model Aubrey Miles announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Troy Montero through Instagram on March 23.
Both the couple posted on Instagram, and Troy’s brief but touching post brought sentimentality to the announcement with the caption, “Together 18 years, Engaged 8 hours… Here’s to Forever with you! ??? @milesaubrey.”
Friends and followers who have witnessed the couple’s 18-year romance congratulated her on the post. This has also elicited mixed reactions from netizens, who were surprised that after all this time, they were just dating and not married.
Some joked that their hopeless thoughts of not getting married to their long-term lovers gave them hope that the couple’s 18 years had waited what more for them.
