Solo artist Arthur Nery’s song “Pagsamo” landed the first spot on Spotify’s Top 50 Philippines Playlist in less than a week after its release.
Viva Records posted on their Facebook page a congratulatory post to the young solo male artist for hitting number one to the said streaming platform in the country on Friday, October 8.
Viva Records Corporation is a Philippine record label owned by Viva Entertainment that supports Original Pilipino Music and P-Pop content.
The latest OPM single “Pagsamo” is written by Arthur Nery himself, whereas the lyrics pertain to his wishful thinking about his dream girl and the thoughts of letting go.
Arthur Nery is one of the most promising musicians in the OPM industry. He was a former call center agent from Cagayan De Oro who took a leap of faith to follow his dreams of becoming a recording artist.
Nery is known as the R&B heartthrob singer from the south. He reflects his innate soul and passion to every song he made, reasons for his songs Life Puzzle, Binhi, Pagsamo, and Higa to continuously dominate in any streaming platform.
The new single also dominates Spotify’s playlist under Tatak Pinoy, OPM Rising, Hugot Playlista and OPM Says Chillax.
As of writing, the Official Music Video of Pagsamo is currently trending on YouTube with a total of 5 million views.
