Anji Salvacion is steadily carving out a name for herself in the music industry with the back-to-back success of her first digital concert and debut EP “Kasingkasing Dalampasigan.”
The up-and-coming singer-songwriter dropped her EP a day before she staged her “Feels: The Concert” last April 30, where she also performed all the songs in the album for her supporters fondly called ‘Sunshines.’
Produced by Star Pop head Rox Santos, “Kasingkasing Dalampasigan” takes listeners on a journey to the different seasons of loving someone—ultimately imparting the lesson that love is a journey that begins and ends with you.
Aside from “Dalampasigan” which was penned by Anji herself, other tracks included in the EP are “Love You Like Crazy,” which she co-wrote with fellow young artist SAB, as well as “Happier Without Me,” “Best Mistake,” “Hindi Madali,” and “Kung Sabagay.”
After its release, Anji’s EP topped iTunes Philippines’ Top Albums Chart while also entering the same chart in Spain at #41. All the songs also occupied iTunes Philippines’ Top Songs Chart, with “Love You Like Crazy” peaking at no. 2, “Best Mistake” at no. 3, “Happier Without Me” at no. 4, “Kung Sabagay” at no. 6, “Hindi Madali” at no. 7, and “Dalampasigan” at no. 9.

Meanwhile, the “Dalampasigan” music video and lyric video have so far racked up over 232,000 and 475,000 respective views on YouTube. Over at Spotify, the song has recorded more than 880,000 streams as of writing.
Anji was named one of the top 2 housemates in the “Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10” celebrity edition and is regularly seen on “ASAP Natin ‘To” as one of its ‘New Breed of Singers.’
