The Eraserheads’ legacy continues to move fans as the hit stage production that features its music, “Ang Huling El Bimbo, The Musical” made a grand comeback as it garnered over 2 million combined Facebook and YouTube views in less than a day after its streaming premiered.

As of 4 PM last Friday (May 8), the rock concert musical raked over 1.13 million views on Facebook, while it got nearly 943,000 views on YouTube and was number three on the trending video list of the streaming platform.

It also received numerous praises from netizens, who were overjoyed to watch the show from their homes.

“Thank you Resorts World Manila for the generosity of sharing this to all at this time of discouragements. Indeed hope never left us,” said Facebook user Jojo Olano.

“You are all so good. Kudos to the whole team, it was solid,” fan Moira Cerdena commented.

“Watched it live at the theater, can’t get enough and watching it again live on Facebook. Still and will always be the best,” another fan Ludy Grace Ambros stated.

“Ang Huling El Bimbo, The Musical” will continue streaming until Saturday (May 9). The show’s proceeds will go to ABS-CBN’s “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig” campaign, which will be used to help Filipinos greatly affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
