But more than just beauty and grace, many popular Filipina celebrities prove that they are more than just a pretty face. While some are famed for their titles as beauty queens and renowned actresses, they are also degree holders and Magna Cum Laude Latin honor awardees. Shamcey Supsup-Lee

Shamcey Supsup is not just admired for her unique Filipina beauty. Despite failing to seize the Miss Universe crown in 2011, people continue to look up to her because of her intelligence. Shamcey represented the country in Miss Universe 2011 as a striving woman who showed the world that Filipinas are not just about “face” but also brains.

The beauty queen is a licensed architect who topped the Architect Licensure Examination just before she joined the pageant. She earned her degree from University of the Philippines Diliman and graduated as a Magna Cum Laude. Supsup strived in her academics.
