Filipino-American powerhouse Jessica Sanchez is set to take the America’s Got Talent Season 20 stage one last time, after securing a coveted spot in the grand finale.

The singer earned her place with a stirring performance of JVKE’s “Golden Hour” during the semifinals, a delivery that wowed judges and fans alike. AGT celebrated her achievement on social media, hailing her as having “come back stronger than ever.”

Sanchez’s journey this season has been nothing short of remarkable. She first stunned the panel with Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” a performance so moving it brought judge Sofía Vergara to tears and earned her the Golden Buzzer. She then impressed again in the quarterfinals with Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” securing her spot in the semis despite being eight months pregnant at the time.

No stranger to the spotlight, Sanchez first appeared on AGT Season 1 as a young hopeful before rising to fame as the runner-up on American Idol Season 11. Now, nearly two decades later, she returns to AGT, not only as a finalist, but also as an expectant mother (ready to welcome her first child with husband Rickie Gallardo).

Joining her in the finale lineup are Steve Ray Ladson, Mama Duke, Micah Palace, Team Recycled, Chris Turner, Sirca Marea, Leo High School Choir, Light Wire, and Jourdan Blue.

For Sanchez, this finale isn’t just another competition stage; it is a testament to resilience, artistry, and the power of second chances.
