At least 101 members of the Police Regional Office in Bicol’s (PRO-5) motorcycle and bike patrol units received recognition for their exemplary service to the region on Friday.

“Your consistent and diligent efforts have played a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of communities throughout the region,” PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon said during the ceremony at the Camp Simeon Ola here.

Dizon said the citation “also serves as inspiration for all members of the police force to continue striving for a safer and more secure region.”

Meanwhile, at least nine police commissioned personnel were officially promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel during an oath-taking and donning of ranks ceremony.

The promoted personnel include Lt. Col. Diome Cardano, Lt. Col. Antonio Perez, Lt. Col. Rosalinda Gaston, Lt. Col. Joseph Abel Jarabejo, Lt. Col. Romel Santos, Lt. Col. Barry Gibb Zorilla, Lt. Col. Dominic Borigas, Lt. Col. Rodolfo Borromeo, and Lt. Col. Kim Lawrence Arenas.

“As the most senior officer here in PRO-5, I encourage you to strive harder and prove that you are worthy of trust and confidence,” Dixon said. (PNA)
