A total of 382 fire victims here received PHP3.2 million worth of Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) from the National Housing Authority in Davao Region (NHA-11) on Friday night.

In an interview, NHA-11 Manager Clemente Dayot said the beneficiaries who came from the seven villages in this city received PHP10,000 each.

Dayot said 417 fire victims in Davao de Oro and Davao de Norte in 2023 and 2024 will also get aid from EHAP.

Around PHP 200 million in EHAP funds were facilitated through the office of Senator Christopher Lawrence Go.

Go led the distribution of aid and also provided the beneficiaries grocery packs, basketball, volleyball, hygiene kits and vitamins. (PNA)
