Perhaps the K-wave and Filipino drama are now in the age of collaboration, with Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Do Ji-Han, and Lee Seung-Gi in their upcoming comedy-action film “Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul”.

Pulp Studios posted the official poster on October 15, with the film set to premiere on November 15. Starring in the film are actresses Karylle Tatlonghari, Jennica Garcia, and Alora Sam.

While the two Korean actors will only be cameos in the film, Melai expressed her sincere gratitude for the opportunity, especially to the film director and host personality, Kring Kim.

“Salamat kay @pulpstudiosph lalo na kay Inang Reyna @happeehour, my dreams do come true through prayers and You, Inang. And you, Madam @kringkim and Sir @mr.vernon.go, excited na kami makita ninyo ang comedy/action na ginawa namin as in the Best,” she wrote in her caption.

Pulp Studios also shared the behind-the-scenes, showing that the production was truly filmed in the streets of Korea and not on a studio set.

Melai has surely fulfilled her K-drama feel in the film, and after meeting two K-artists with the support of her family, especially her husband, after their Pinoy Big Brother journey, Jason Francisco.
