Heart Evangelista, a Filipina actress and fashionista, meets the South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo at the Ondes Et Merveilles De Chaumet – New High Jewelry Collection event in Paris, France.
On Sunday, Evangelista shared a photo of her and Song Hye Kyo, both dripping in diamonds and crystals courtesy of Chaumet. Heart wore a white thigh-high slit Mark Bumgarner gown, while Kyo was in a black ensemble.
Despite the color contrast of their dresses, they both exude elegance and youthfulness in the photo. Fans and even celebrities gushed over the posted photo and some prominent actors even left comments on the post. It includes Anne Curtis, Mariel Padilla, Louis Manzano, Nikki Valdez, and many more.
Fans also pointed out that it is the meeting of two ‘Jessies’. In the 2004 South Korean series Full House, Han Ji-eun was played by Hye Kyo, and Evangelista portrayed the same role in GMA’s Filipino adaptation of the K-drama.
Evangelista has been a fixture at fashion weeks all over the world and has collaborated with different fashion brands, including Giambattista Valli for H&M, Sequoia Paris, and Kamiseta. She also became part of the French fashion house Dior early this year.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo is best known for her outstanding Korean drama series “Autumn In My Heart,” “That Winter,” “The Wind Blows,” “Now We Are Breaking Up” and the award winning “Descendants of the Sun.”
Kyo is the Maison ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region of Chaumet and has done different campaigns with the brand, including the iconic New Bee My Love campaign and Rendez-vous campaign.
