ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo creates a deeper experience for ‘Artist on a Mission’ Kristine Lim’s “TETELESTAI” art installation that is available for viewing in Alabang and Intramuros until April 17 and 20, respectively.

“Creating the music for Kristine’s art installation convicted me to reflect God’s grace in its melody. I hope the Divine’s message, whispered with my prayer in between the notes of my composition, ushers them through their experience while walking on the narrow path,” Jonathan said.

Mounted in observance of this year’s Holy Week, missionary visual artist Kristine presents “TETELESTAI,” a Hebrew word that translates to “it is finished” in English.

The timely masterpiece shows a crucifix lying on the floor, completely covered by a red cloth that symbolizes the shed blood of Jesus. Scattered around it are pieces of discarded twigs and junk leading people to step on the cross as it’s the only safe way for them to navigate through the dark tunnel.

Kristine said her work is a personal reflection she wants to share to others. “It is a personal reminder for a sinner like me, who keeps on failing and falling in the mundane, to ask the Lord to help my unbelief. We must live a life that’s completely free because we are forgiven through the love that’s beyond what our mind and hearts can conceive.”

The “TETELESTAI” art installation will be on view at the Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang until Easter Sunday (April 17) and at the Baluartillo de San Francisco Javier, Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila until April 20 (Monday).
