Watch out for more sinister, and stranger adventures as Netflix released images of the highly-anticipated fourth season of Stranger Things on Wednesday, March 23.

The fourth season of the hit Netflix series will show what happened six months later after the third season’s Battle of Starcourt. Out of Hawkins, the crew will now try to spend their lives being separated from each other for the first time.

The newly-released images for Season 4 showed that there would be troubling adventures awaiting the gang. Fans may expect horrors in the Creel House, a duel between Eleven’s circle of friends against an unknown opponent, and the reunion of the original Hawkins crew.

Since February 2020, Stranger Things has released four teasers on what fans can expect for the fourth season. The latest teaser, released last November 2021, showed Eleven’s move and adjustment to her new life in California and her excitement about having “the best spring break ever” once she gets to see Mike again.

The first teaser titled “From Russia with Love” revealed Chief Jim Hopper is alive. The second teaser titled “Eleven, are you listening?” showed a peek at Eleven’s dark past. The third teaser showed The Creel House, a new horrifying location.

Netflix also released four posters showing chilling locations in which the characters will find themselves.

The sneak peeks teaser for the fourth season was released last August 2021, which revealed darker and troubling adventures are about to come for the characters of Stranger Things.

The fourth season will be divided into two volumes. The first part will premiere on May 27, while the second part will premiere five weeks later, on July 1.

Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror series created by the Duffer Brothers. It first premiered on Netflix in July 2016. The series follows the journey of fearless kids as they discover the secrets and supernatural forces in the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana.
