The national Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has placed Bataan under Alert Level 2 from February 16-28.

Governor Albert Garcia said the lower restriction was due to the decreasing number of new confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in the previous days.

We are strongly reminding the public of the continuous implementation of health protocols such as the wearing of face mask, observing social distancing, washing of hands and staying at home if the reason for going out is not important) ,” he said in a social media post.
