The Philippines has administered 76,522,732 doses of coronavirus vaccines, with 33,847,741 Filipinos now with full protection against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), data as of Tuesday indicated.

Latest data from the National Covid-19 vaccination dashboard showed 907,917 doses were administered on Monday, bringing the average daily vaccination rate in the last seven days to 834,994 doses.

In an interview, National Task Force Against Covid-19 medical adviser, Dr. Ted Herbosa, reported that 134 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have already been delivered.

Of the total, 90 million doses were procured by the national government and the rest donated.

Herbosa said the government is now focused on administering the more than 55 million doses in the stockpile while 10 million more are slated to arrive, thus eliminating allocation problems in the regions.

The government has earlier committed to fully inoculate at least 54 million Filipinos within this year and up to 70 million early next year to achieve population protection.

The government is set to hold a three-day national vaccination drive from November 29 to December 1, aiming to administer at least 15 million Covid-19 jabs. (PNA)
