Filipino-British singer-songwriter Jon Guelas explores the “what ifs” and “what could have beens” of a past relationship in his single “Did I Let You Go,” dropping on music platforms this Friday (November 5).

The new Tarsier artist began his singing career when he joined “The X Factor UK” in 2018. During his stint on the show, he became part of boyband “United Vibe,” where he had the opportunity to perform in multiple headline shows around the globe.

Since departing from the group early this year, Jon has kick-started his solo career with singles “Wonderland” and “Out of Love.”

The honest-to-goodness track, “Did I Let You Go,” is a first of many projects for Jon under Tarsier Records, an ABS-CBN Music record label that seeks to bring Philippine music to the world stage.

“The song was inspired by a breakup, thinking about a relationship I let just slip out of my hands. I try to write from an honest and real perspective and I guess, heartbreak is really where most of that comes from,” Jon shared.

“I’ve held onto this song for over a year now and I think it’s finally time to let go and release it to the world,” he added.

Paired with Jon’s captivating voice and a sound that crosses borders, “Did I Let You Go” is set to become the next heartbreak anthem.

Watch out for Jon’s “Did I Let You Go,” streaming on digital platforms starting 12:01am Friday (November 5) and keep an eye out for the music video dropping on Tarsier Records’ YouTube channel later that day. For updates, follow Tarsier Records on various social media accounts @tarsierrecords.
