On Thursday, September 30 “My Universe” MV was released and fans of both groups can’t stop talking about how it resembles the very epic Marvel Cinematic Universe setting.
The MV tells a story of a universe, where music is forbidden yet on three different planets, three bands defy the ban. The three bands performed and united by DJ Lafrique through her alien ship and holoband, in exchange for being hunted by the silencers.
Set in the future, Coldplay and BTS appeared as holograms as they performed together in the music video, showing that differences aren’t a hindrance to be friends, working together, and making music.
Different Marvel-related memes have trended after the MV’s release.

Coldplay x BTS’ My Universe is their latest single, from the album Music of the Spheres that will be released on October 15th.
As of writing the MV trended No.1 in music in the first 16 hours of its premiere and garnered a whopping 14,791,020 views on YouTube.
