This town is set to give out the allocated cash aid given by the Laguna provincial government for distribution to its low-income population.

The municipal government here confirmed on Thursday that it has already received the PHP97.04 million total “ayuda” that will be distributed to residents who have suffered heavily from the ongoing enhanced community quarantine due to rising Covid-19 cases in the province.

“Kasalukuyang isinasaayos ang master list ng mga benipisyaryo (The master list of the beneficiaries is currently being organized),” the local government unit said in a statement.

The municipal government said the distribution of cash aid will quickly start once the master list has been finalized.

It called on the residents to just wait for further announcements on how to claim the financial assistance.

This town’s share of the over PHP2.7 billion allocated for Laguna is the eighth largest and second among municipalities just below the capital town of Sta. Cruz. (PNA)
