Celebrity-entrepreneur Dingdong Dantes has officially debuted his full-service tech startup Dingdong®, in partnership with leading software developer Multisys Technologies Corporation.

Dingdong® provides logistics and e-commerce solutions that create jobs for riders, connect merchants through digital channels, and reach consumers with a wide range of quality products around the metro. Dingdong® also caters to businesses and communities through its agnostic delivery and e-commerce products and services that can either be integrated or customized to fit the requirements of the partner or client.

Dingdong® and MultiSys first announced their partnership in August 2020 with a vision to bring together small and medium enterprises, their own rider fleet, and an expansive consumer base—all in one community. At the same time, Dantes sought to support displaced by generating employment opportunities for riders and food & beverage, and goods enterprises.

Through the partnership, MultiSys was tapped to develop and implement end-to-end delivery technology solutions with its flagship e-commerce and integration technologies that ensure Dingdong®’s continued seamless entry into the online food and goods ordering and delivery space.

Dingdong®’s online marketplace segment is also using Multipay, the payment solutions arm of MultiSys that provides integrators access to a comprehensive set of payment instruments.

“Through our partnership with tech leader MultiSys, we know that in no time, we will enable and empower more individuals, businesses and communities through Dingdong®️’s e-marketplace ecosystem and e-commerce experience. Our dream to deliver a distinct digital synthesis between our online marketplace and logistics is now taking shape. We will continue expanding our innovative business solutions anchored on excellence and professional malasakit, and helping more riders, entrepreneurs and the public through technology and livelihood opportunities,” Dantes said.

To date, Dingdong® has on-boarded around 100 riders during its pilot stage. With the ongoing full roll out, the company plans to grow this number to up to 5,000, and targets to have about 4,000 active merchants in the next three to five years.
