After TC Candler released the result on Sunday, December 27, the Israeli model, Yael Shelbia was named the “Most Beautiful Face of the Year” in the female population in the world.

However, in the Philippines, Kapamilya artists Ivana Alawi landed on the 11th spot, Lisa Soberano on the 14th, and Daniel Matsunaga placed on the 75th spot. Only three Filipino faces were to enter the list in TC Candler 2020 result.

The creator of the Annual Independent UK-Based Beauty Critic, TC Candler published two lists of the compilation of the most handsome faces and the other for the most beautiful faces in the world. There are 125,000 participants from 40 different countries and the results are acknowledged through the reflection of modern ideal beauty worldwide.

Among other beautiful faces, actress-model Ivana Alawi appeared for the first time on the ranking who bested Liza Soberano who has six times to have made it to the list.

On the other hand, Soberano took 10th place last year and claimed the top spot in 2017.

“Unlike most other annual beauty rankings,” TC Candler wrote, “The List is not a popularity contest and is most definitely not country-specific. It is not about the sexiest body or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion instead of reflecting it. You will find superstars and new stars, global sensations, and relative unknowns.”

Taking part in the list are Blackpink Lisa as second, Australian model Meika Woollard as third, Twice Chou Tzuyu as fourth, followed by Emilie Nereng, Thylane Blondeau, Halima Aden, Im Jin-ah, Josie Lane, and Nancy Jewel McDonie.

For males, one of the world’s biggest YouTuber stars, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg crowned as the “Most Handsome Face of the Year.” Other male personalities who made on the top 10 were Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Xiao Zhan, Chris Hemsworth, V (Kim Tae-hyung), Timothée Chalamet, Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook), Paing Takhon, and Jason Derulo.
