The Pasay City government has started the online applications and processing of business permits through the “Pasay E-Business Go Live” system.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said pushing an online processing system will not only provide business owners more convenient, fast, and efficient processing of their permits, but it will also keep them from possible coronavirus disease (Covid-19) infections.

“Ito ay isa sa mga hakbangin ng Pasay LGU upang matulungan ang business sector sa ating lungsod na makabawi mula sa epekto ng pandemya habang tinitiyak din natin na maipatutupad ang minimum health at safety standards (This is one of the initiatives of Pasay local government unit to help the business sector in our city recover from the effects of the pandemic while ensuring that the minimum health and safety standards are being implemented),” Rubiano said in a video statement on Wednesday.

Rubiano said the new permit processing system is designed with a contactless feature to avoid the physical transactions between clients and workers, making it possible to prevent Covid-19 transmission while providing public service.

Residents who wish to start a new business or would like to renew their permits should visit www.eodbbusiness.pasay.gov.ph. The system is also accessible through mobile devices.

Upon completing the virtual form, the business registrants will receive a control number which will be utilized in the online applications. Registrants should make an online payment via Landbank Link.BizPortal.

The business permit will be available in less than three days.

Rubiano urged the residents to avail the city’s online services to avoid the spread of Covid-19 infection. (PNA)
