“Emily in Paris” has definitely made a trend of itself when it graced the Netflix platform in October. From titular character Emily’s (Lily Collins) amazing outfits to the French culture to the “Gossip Girl” references, it’s safe to say that the series was overall fun to watch nor meant to be taken seriously. And whether you streamed it out of curiosity because your social media friends cannot stop talking about it or loved to hate-watch it, we have some good news for you: Emily will be staying in Paris for a while longer!

Emily is back for a second season, so what does this entail?

According to a fictional press release signed by Slyvie, they are hoping that “by extending her time in Paris, Emily will further the relationships she has already made, delve deeper into our culture, and perhaps pick up a few words of basic French.”

She added, “Despite her overconfident manner and lack of prior experience in luxury goods marketing, she has nonetheless managed to charm some of our hard-to-impress clients during her short time at Savoir.”

“We love having Emily in Paris! But please don’t let her know that,” the letter ended.

There is no official date of release for the new season yet. Due to the current pandemic, production will be delayed and the earliest you it will be available on Netflix is by late 2021 or 2022.
